Today, around 1:20 p.m., U.S. Marshals captured Robert Yaminy, the suspect in the Coeburn, Va. robbery of miners exchange bank.
The Coeburn police department told 11 Connects tips led the marshals to Yaminy who was in the area of M and M Auto in Sullivan County.
Police told us Yaminy had an accomplice and the accomplice ran away when he saw the Marshals.
A search is underway for the accomplice.
Coeburn police said Yaminy is in the Sullivan county jail. The extradition process will soon begin to bring Yaminy back to Coeburn to face charges.

A man suspected of robbing a bank in Southwest Virginia is still on the loose.
The Coeburn Police Department tells us they are looking for Robert Yaminy. They believe Yaminy robbed Miners Exchange Bank located on Front Street in Coeburn around 3:30 p.m. yesterday.
Police say that they think Yaminy wrote a bank teller a note demanding cash. They say the teller then handed an undetermined amount of cash to the suspected robber.
Police tell us that Yaminy has lived in the area for about a month and has been in and out of a homeless shelter in Norton. Yaminy is originally from California.
The Coeburn Police Department is leading the investigation with help from the Wise County Sheriff's Office, the Virginia State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
