A Southwest Virginia man will appear in court today, after the Lee County Sheriff's Office says that deputies found four dozen marijuana plants and hundreds of prescription drug pills in his home.
Deputies arrested Richard Dewayne McKinney at his Pennington Gap, Va. home on Friday night. They discovered 48 marijuana plants, two-ounces of processed marijuana, 102 Xanax pills, 68 Percocet pills and drug paraphernalia.
McKinney is in the Duffield Regional Jail without bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Lee County General District Court this morning.
