A manhunt is under way in Wythe County, Va., for a man wanted in what Virginia State Police now call a "crime spree" in the Tri-Cities Region.
According to Virginia State Police Sgt. Michael Conroy, a state trooper and Smyth County officer tried to pull over a suspect in a Marion, Virginia robbery case around 4 a.m. today. The driver of the white pickup truck pulled off the road and ran, Conroy said.
Police said the man was dressed in all-black military style clothing and was last seen carrying a black duffle bag.
Conroy said the suspect may be linked to an armed robbery at a Roadrunner Market, on Carolina Pottery Drive, in Kingsport that happened around 1:50 a.m. Wednesday.

The Kingsport Police Department is looking for a man they say robbed a convenience store early Wednesday morning.
Police say the robbery happened at the Roadrunner Market on the 200-block of Carolina Pottery Drive at around 1:50 a.m.
A clerk told police that a man came into the store with a semi-automatic pistol in each hand and demanded money from the cash register. Police then say the man took several lottery tickets and an undetermined amount of cash. According to police, the man fled the store in a white Chevrolet pickup truck. Police say that officials in Marion, Va. are investigating a similar incident.

* Dark Hair & Sideburns
* 5'10"
* 170 lbs.
* Thin Build
* Wearing: Dark Sweatshirt, Dark Pants, Combat Boots, Hat & Bandana
