* A man had some people over to his Godsey Road apartment and the next morning he noticed 29 Xanax pills missing.

* Officers picked up a man and two women for stealing a bag containing $2.50 and five AA batteries from the Haynesfield Pool on Sleepy Hollow Road.

* She wanted to cash a check at the Volunteer Parkway Food City, but she didn’t have a check. So she left, but hung out outside the store, cursing and shouting vulgarities at passers-by.

* A packing company employee reported that a woman mailed several items within a short period of time to different locations. The employee suspected the woman was selling stolen property.

* Someone reported people “messing around” in a suspicious, dark-colored vehicle parked behind a Park Street house. They called back to say two people
got out of the car.

* Officers checked out a 2-feet-deep, human-sized sinkhole in the middle of the road at Texas Avenue and Elm Street.

* A person walked into the police station to report he left his car parked outside of Rice Terrace for the night and it was stolen.

* Two panhandlers were “sent packing” by officers after begging for money at the Exit 7 off ramp.

* A Wallace Pike woman reported that off-road motorcycles behind her house were scaring wildlife onto her property.
