A Gray, Tennessee woman is in jail today, after police say she stole someone's identity and possessed drug paraphanalia while they were investigating her for shoplifting.
Johnson City Police arrested Sheree C. Ruley, 37, of Gray, Tennessee. Police say they were investigating Ruley on a shoplifting charge at Walmart on West Market Street, when they say they found a Tennessee identification card in her purse that didn't belong to her. Police then say they found a glass pipe in her purse commonly used to smoke crack cocaine along with a prescription drug that she wasn't supposed to have.
Ruley is in jail facing shoplifting, identitity theft and drug charges.
