Johnson City, Tenn. -- Congressman Phil Roe came home to Mountain Home VA today; he spoke with veterans about the past six months he's spent in Washington. He spoke against President Obama's new health care plan, and shared his beliefs on what needs to be done for health care.
Roe listened to veteran's questions, about the cross-contamination issues at some VA hospitals (which the House had a hearing about a couple weeks ago), the backlog of benefits, and personal questions like wanting to collect combat related pay for serving less than twenty years.
Not everyone showed up to share concerns. Some Veterans, like Randy Kington, have had great experiences with VA hospital care.
