FDA: Steer Clear of Peanut Butter and Products

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Federal officials are now urging people to steer clear of peanut butter until they can find the source of a salmonella outbreak.

The F.D.A. is currently focusing on a peanut processing plant in Georgia.

The outbreak has already killed at least six people.

Little Debbie peanut butter crackers are now being recalled because there's a chance of salmonella contamination.

That's the word from McKee Foods Corporation of Collegedale, Tennessee.

The voluntary recall covers Little Debbie peanut butter toasty crackers and Little Debbie peanut butter cheese crackers.
