A Sullivan County, Tennessee Murder Suspect Has Been Caught In North Carolina

Bluff City, Tennessee Police Chief David Nelson confirmed to News Channel 11 on Saturday that Abrey Wayne Fortner of Chesapeake, Virginia was arrested on Friday night in Gates County, North Carolina. Fortner is accused of a grisly killing in a Bluff City apartment in September 2008. Investigators say Arthur Theodore Bruchard Junior's throat had been slashed. Fortner was also wanted on warrants from Chesapeake and Smithville, Virginia for violation of probation, kidnapping and malicious wounding. Fortner was named one of tennessee's 10 most wanted in October of last year.
