Middle school student, Austin Hendrickson, isn't looking forward to the homework, but he is excited for basketball games and friends.
Teachers and students alike need to get back into the school day routine, earlier bed times and scheduled events.
Getting back for Spring semester is easier than Fall, after the shorter break, but expect students to be more tired and less focused as the first class bell rings. Johnson City schools have a teacher work day Monday, so students return to class Tuesday.
