Josh Nichols was named student of the week. He's a 7th grader at Blountville Middle School. Josh is a straight A student who understands the importance of getting good grades.
"My parents know that I can get good grades, straight A's and if I don't they, might get a little upset because they know I am able to do it," Nichols said.
When this 13 year-old is not working hard in the classroom or studying at home, he enjoys playing music.
"I play trumpet, but actually I'm the only one in the band in 7th grade that plays coronet," said Nichols.
Josh hopes to attend college at East Tennessee State or at the University of Tennessee. He's also considering joining the Air Force and becoming a pilot.
