A national website claims it can save you time and money when it comes to feeding your family.
The site is called Pinching Your Pennies.
Salt Lake City reporter Christina Florez put the website to the test.
She went shopping with Karma Rasmussen. Rasmussen is part of an army of nationwide shoppers who voluntarily scout weekly ads for the best prices.
Then, she posts the best deals on the website. They go on shopping lists that are sorted by store. The site also tells shoppers where to find coupons.
Rasmussen says she saves shoppers a lot of time and money, "It's something I believe in so much. It helps so many people, and right now, people are struggling financially."
Reporter Christina Florez went shopping with Rasmussen.
At the checkout, the bill tallied $105.88.
After store discounts and coupons were applied, the $105 tab went way down. Rasmussen only paid $22.55.
Membership to Pinching Your Pennies is free.
