Science Fair A Hit At Sullins Academy

Monday and Tuesday the 4th – 8th. Grade students at Sullins Academy held a Science Fair.

This midyear show is for the students to develop experiments and prove or disprove them using the scientific method.

The lower grades and parents were able to attend and tour the show and ask questions of the students about the results.

This years experiments included body mass index of children in other countries, stain removal, electricity in vegetables and fruits, is dry ice better to make ice cream fast, does Coke affect your body, do dogs like expensive or cheap dog food, does the color of the wax affect how fast the candle melts, does age and gender affect smiling and the science of hard candy.
