Early Show Surprises "Singing Family" Finalist In Bluff City

CBS Early Show's Dave Price surprised the Smith family in Bluff City, Tenn. The family's band is called J4.

The group consists of Jessi, 15; Jedidiah, 13; Josiah, 8; and Josephine, 7. The band is supported by parents Mark and Lori Smith.

J4 is now one of six finalists for the "Singing Family Face Off," and they now have a chance to win a deal with CBS Records.

For months, the CBS Early Show has gone through hundreds of videos submitted by family bands for their contest: "Singing Family Face Off."

On Monday, CBS Early Show's Dave Price started showing up to the finalists' homes live on the Early Show, and he will do that every weekday morning until February 23.

There are a couple of finalists in the Tri-Cities, and Dave Price will show up to one of their homes today.
We don't even know what family will be surprised, or where Price is waiting to surprise the lucky family.

News Channel 11's very own Tim Cable is also standing by with Dave Price in an unknown location in the Tri-Cities this morning where they will then prepare to surprise the selected family live on the CBS Early Show around 8 a.m.
