Dec. 16

* A drunken man called at 3:45 a.m. to complain that police officers stole his 14-year-old dogs, after they “got loose” from his Maple Street home. He called back a second time seemingly just to curse, a third to say that he found the dogs in his basement and fourth to “say thank you.”
* Someone reported a man without a motorcycle license recklessly driving a blue Sportster motorcycle on Woodland Circle.
* Kids on skateboards were spotted “jumping into the traffic” on Lee Highway.

Bristol Tennessee Police Department

Dec. 16

* Officers went to Broad Street when a guy there reported the resident, who owed him money, came out of his trailer waving a hammer. The man who lives in the trailer told police that the loan collector “had been harassing him throughout the week and he went outside to tell him to get off his property.” He claimed that he did not wave a hammer, rather was still clutching the television remote control. Officers “did not locate any hammers and [the man] advised that he did not have any hammers in his residence.”
* A woman called police to report someone continuously calling her house, even after she asked them to stop.
* A man was upset about his child’s mother’s mother “being involved in their personal matters,” so he commenced text messaging the grandmother repeatedly. The woman told officers she “wanted them to stop.”
