A Gate City woman was arrested and charged with theft Saturday, after police say she tried to steal 92 pieces of jewelry, valued at over $2800. Loss prevention personnel at the Belk store in Kingsport Town Center detained 43 year old Debbie Michelle Fraysier after surveillance cameras showed her putting several pieces of merchandise in the pockets of her coat and hoodie. The police report says Fraysier damaged some of the items and they were not able to be restocked at the store. Those items valued nearly $150. The remaining items were recovered without damage. During her arrest, officers also found Fraysier to be in possession of several pills including Oxycontin, Lyrica, Endocet, and Valium.
