I seldom write letters to the editor, but I just had to respond to the three letters printed last week and to thank you for printing them. I just want to say its good to know there are still people out there like Daniel Nave of Elizabethton, Tenn., and Beverly Gardener of Bristol, Va., and Jim Marshall of Abingdon, Va. I wholeheartedly agree with all of them and wish more people like them would write.
They are in the majority in America but I’m afraid the majority is much too silent. I read the old history books and they tell the real story of the founding of America and we are a Christian nation in spite of what others would have you believe and many polls have shown Christians are still in the majority in America. The old history, the real history, can still be found if the younger generations are willing to search for it. God help America.
