A 12-year old Piney Flats boy recovers from injuries tonight after being struck by a hit and run driver.
The youngster was riding his bicycle along Austin Springs Road near Huffman Road when he was struck from behind by someone in a light blue duelly pickup (that's a truck with four wheels on the rear axle). The boy's mother says the driver yelled for him to stay off the road before driving off, leaving the boy sprawled in the road with injuries to both legs.
