A tip to the Washington County Sheriff's Office led to the discovery of a handful of marijuana plants, some more than eight-feet tall. According to Lt. Doug Gregg, investigators discovered the $5,000 worth of marijuana off a trail near Link Road in Fall Branch Tuesday.

The people responsible likely began growing the pot in that location about a year ago, Gregg said. He said investigators are still searching for those people.

Gregg said he hasn't seen pot plants that tall around here in a long time.
