Washington County Sheriff's deputies say they seized thousands of dollars in cash during a weekend drug bust.
In a press release today, the Washington County, Tenn. Sheriff's Office said investigators received tips about the sale of prescription drugs at a home on Butchertown Road in the Fall Branch community.
During a search of the home, investigators found over $35,000 in cash, drug ledgers and loaded firearms.
The two suspects admitted to selling prescription drugs, including Hydrocodone and Valium. Both obtained the prescriptions legally though licensed doctors.
Charges have not yet been filed. The Washington County Sheriff's Office says the case will be presented to a Grand Jury for consideration for prosecution due to the age of the suspects.
