Police are still looking for help in solving the murders of two workers at a local Pizza Plus. Meanwhile, the community is reaching out.
Today, Kimberlee Matney, a spokeswoman for Pizza Plus, Inc. issued the following statement:
"The entire Pizza Plus family, and especially the families of Harvey and Valerie Looney sincerely appreciate the tremendous outpouring of sympathy, kind thoughts and prayers from the people of this community.
"We have complete confidence in our law enforcement officials and place our faith in God that justice will be served.
"Pizza Plus is offering a ten thousand dollar reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible. If you have any information please contact the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Department at: 276-988-5966 or 1-877-482-8477.

There will be a non denominational memorial service held at Pizza Plus of Claypool Hill on Sunday, April 5, at 1 p.m., prior to the re-opening of the restaurant.
According to Tazewell County Sheriff H.S. Caudill, the police are still looking for the murder. Investigators say the bodies of Harvey Looney and his wife, Valerie Looney, were found Monday morning at the Pizza Plus in Claypool Hill. According to Caudill, Harvey Looney's body was found outside near the
restaurant's back door. Valerie Looney's body was found in the restaurant at her desk.
Investigators believe the motive was robbery.
