Jacob Newman is this week's News Channel Eleven and Food City Student of The Week. Jacob is senior at Sullivan East High School. He enjoys school, but already has big plans for the future.
"I just put it in the Lord's hand and I feel like if I follow the Lord's will that he will bless me," Newman said.
Jacob wants to become a minister and will be attending a two year bible college. He then hopes to transfer to Liberty University. He said he was led to the ministry when he was in the 8th grade.
No matter what he did, Jacob says it wouldn't be possible without his families support.
"They have supported me through and through and that's the reason I'm here today is by the way they have raised me," said Newman.
Jacob also likes to sing in church and at school.
