A family of seven is alive this morning after their home goes up in flames in Hawkins County. It happened Wednesday night around 9:45 in the 600 block of Zion Hill Road.
Hawkins County dispatchers tell us the family was in the house with the fire sparked.
Carter’s Valley, Stanley Valley and Surgoinsville, volunteer fire fighters rushed out battle the blaze.
The Red Cross also came to the family’s aid to help them with housing assistance.
The investigation continues into what sparked the fire.
