This is the Illinois senator’s second time holding a town hall in Southwest Virginia. It is also his fourth visit to the Commonwealth since winning the democratic primary; and his first visit after securing the democratic nomination in at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado.
June 5, 2008 Senator Obama packed the Virginia High School gymnasium in Bristol, VA. Tuesday the senator is expected to present his "Change We Need" platform to Southwest Virginia.
The message will reportedly focus on ending the United States dependency on foreign oil and creating millions of new jobs.
