John Sevier Middle School student named Student of The Week.

This weeks News Channel Eleven Food City Student of The Week is 13 year old Casey Osborne.
"I'm really excited and honor to be that," Osborne said.
This John Sevier Middle School 8th grader has earned the respect of his teachers for his work in the classroom.
"I have been just supremely impressed with the type of student he his and not only that, but the type of role model he is for other students," said Jennifer Crawford, teacher.
Osborne attributes his success in the classroom to studying hard, but he said he couldn't accomplish anything without his faith.
"There's many, sometimes struggles in school and you just have a positive attitude and you keep on going and have faith, it helps me a lot," Osborne said.
When he's not studying Osborne participates in christian theatre and likes to read fiction.
"You can just kind of escape, you are into the book, like you are going somewhere else," said Osborne.
Osborne wants to go to college and become a teacher, the people who know him believe he can reach any career path he chooses.
