Charges May Be Filed After Johnson City Motorcycle Crash

A man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Johnson City, Tennessee.

It happened about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night at the intersection of West Market Street and Leisure Lane near the city's newest Wal-Mart.

Police say the driver of a car turned left into the path of the motorcycle. The motorcycle driver, 59-year-old Larry Gene Bunton, died at the scene.
The Johnson City Police Traffic Homicide team is investigating, and charges in the crash could be filed after the investigation is finished.
