UPDATE: Kingsport Police Release Surveillance Video From Bank Robbery

Kingsport Police are investigating a bank robbery at the Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union. It happened around 9:30 a.m. at 1500 East Stone Drive.

UPDATE: Kingsport police continue to search for a bank robber.
The robbery happened this morning at Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union on East Stone Drive.
Police say they are looking for a white male between the ages of 25 and 40. Witnesses say he was between 5'9" and 6'1" and weighed between 190 to 230 pounds. He was wearing a blue and red hat, blue jacket, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes.
The man handed a teller a note stating he had a gun and wanted money. The teller then handed over the cash and the man left.
Investigators released surveillance video of the robbery late this afternoon.
