Carter Co., Tenn. -- Fire destroyed a two-story home in Carter County Friday night. It happened at 157 Grace Lewis Road, near the intersection of Little Stony Creek and Highway 91.
No one was home, but the house was a total loss, Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department Capt. Jason Shaw said.
Neighbors said the fire started some time after 11:00 p.m.
Several trucks and more than one dozen firefighters had the fire contained before midnight.
