Some of Unicoi County's top investigators will head to Missouri Tuesday to testify against the most elusive fugitive in the county's history.
Darrell Tipton was captured by Unicoi County Sheriff's Deputies in October of 2005.
For five months before that Tipton had eluded police by hiding out in the mountains along the Tennessee-North Carolina state line.
Tipton went on trial Monday for assault in Springfield, Missouri.
He's also a suspect in the three murders in Florida.
In addition, he still faces charges federal and state charges in Tennessee.
