Seven people serve on the council. Alexander was the only person nominated. The vote in favor of Alexander was 7:0.
Charles LaPorte was re-appointed as Mayor Pro-Tem over Sam Shipley. The vote was 4:3 in favor of LaPorte. The council also swore in a new attorney.
