Voters in California have put a stop to same-sex marriage by approving the so-called ‘Proposition Eight.'
California has conducted more than 18,000 same-sex marriages since a court ruling made them legal this year.
Spending for and against Proposition 8 reached $74-million dollars, the most expensive social-issues campaign in US history and the most expensive campaign this year outside the race for the white house.
SOUND-OFF: Do you think this will set the tone for the rest of America?
