Officials from the McCain campaign are getting ready for the Senator's visit to the Tri-Cities region this morning.
Doors will open at the Tri-Cities Regional Airport in Blountville at 8:30 a.m. Everybody is welcome to come, even if you don't have a ticket.
Organizers expect roughly 10,000 people to show up, and say Senator McCain will speak for more than an hour about issues that are especially important to voters in Southwest Virginia.
This visit is part of a seven-state tour today, where McCain will visit seven swing states and try to persuade voters he is the better candidate one last time.
U.S. Congressional Candidate Dr. Phil Roe and Tennessee U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander will appear with McCain on stage.
Campaign officials also say former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson will appear with McCain.
