Drug Sting:  Agents Uncover More Than Two Pounds of Pot

Durg agents charged Justin Bennett and Samantha Depriest with possession of pot and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Washington County, Tennessee deputies busted two people with more than two pounds of pot.

Drug Enforcement Administration agents and Washington County investigators served a search warrant at 308 Orleans Street in Johnson City Wednesday afternoon.

Inside the home, they discovered more than 36 ounces of marijuana, digital scales, and baggies.

Investigators charged Justin A. Bennett, of the residence, with possession of drugs for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They also charged Samantha R. Depriest, of the residence, with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In addition to the drugs and drug paraphernalia, investigators also seized a small amount of cash.
