Two people were injured during a house fire in Johnson City Thursday morning.

Fire crews parked in the 300 block of W. Pine Street at 1:15 a.m. At least half of the two-story building was engulfed, fire officials said. They found two people inside and transported them to an area hospital.

Firefighters found a group of oxygen tanks on the first floor. They did not know whether or not those tanks contributed to the fire.

More than 75-percent of the home was destroyed, firefighters said.
