A ten year old boy, accidentally shot by his sister last week, has died of his injuries.
The shooting happened two days before Christmas in Ewing, Virginia.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office said the boy and his eight year old sister were alone outside a family member's home when she accidentally fired a gun wounding her brother.
He died Christmas Eve after being removed from life support.
No charges have been filed but detectives continue to investigate the case.
