An overnight house fire sent Kingsport fire crews rushing to put out flames at a Tri-cities home.
Your Tri-Cities news source had the only TV crew at the scene this morning.
The fire started just before 1 a.m, and the Kingsport Fire Department responded to a house fire on the corner of Oak and Forest Streets.
Firefighters say the house is vacant, and luckily no one was injured.
Fire crews on the scene couldn't say if the fire was an act of arson or not. The fire department says that it appears that the fire started from the outside, and since there is no electricity routed to the house, an electrical fire has also been ruled out.
We'll continue to follow the cause of this fire today on News Channel 11 and TriCities.com.
