One story is that of the ghost of a baby and a miscarriage on Halloween. Another chapter is on Bob Kennedy, a cop who died when his airplane fell from the sky as he hunted marijuana from the skies with another officer.
“The Ghost of Merle Watson” tells about how MerleFest got started as a famous music festival in Wilkes County. Robert Plant will perform this year along with Randy Travis and others.
Then “Daniel Boone’s Spirit” tells how the frontiersman and his ghost still haunts “Horn in the West,” an outdoor drama that is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
