- A highly intoxicated man, phoning from an Old Airport Road residence, made a 911 call to police and began rambling and ranting about Mick Jagger, the Rolling Stones singer. Police told the man that 911 was for emergency purposes only, and told him not to call for trivial reasons. Later, the man told police he didn’t know he’d actually called 911: apparently he was trying to dial 411 (the number for information) so he could get in touch with Mick Jagger. Apparently, the man was too drunk to notice he’d dialed incorrectly – or to realize why he was getting “no satisfaction” in his efforts to reach Jagger.
- A caller told police someone had come to his New Hampshire Avenue home while he was gone and drank his drinks, ate his food, let his cats out and took his medication.
