Bristol voters, at least, turned out to vote in greater numbers Tuesday than they did for this election four years ago.
The Puckett-Light race for the 38th District state Senate seat is so far seeing only a 8 percent turnout, with 22 of 112 precincts reporting.
Voting is a right, but we should treat it like a duty.
Low turnout numbers are a dissapointment.
